My favorite place to go for amazing Mexican cuisine!

The food was amazing!!! The wait staff incredibly nice..

Very crowded during the Tubac Festival. They have a special menu during the festival, which has approximately 6 main dishes. Good was tasty, service was a little slow, but place was packed. Prices range from 12 dollar's on up.

We had dinner here. The food was just okay. The table cloth on our table was dirty. My paper placemat looked like it had been used so I set it to one side thinking the waiter would bring a fresh one but he never did. Overall I thought the food and drinks were a little on the expensive side.

Very tasty and authentic food! Will make exceptions and add or replace food items! All cuisine is made from scratch! I highly recommend Soto's to the Mexican enthusiast!

Food and service was excellent, prices are a little steep, but overall a great place. Tastes like I remember it as a kid in the original location.

I lived in Tubac village for a while and went to Soto's about once a month. Soto's serves Mexican comfort food and comfort alcohol. Occasionally there's a mariachi band. Very chill place to eat. I did get sick twice so I learned to keep my choices simple.

I very much enjoyed the red chile con carne. Just wish there was more on the plate. A little skimpy on the portions, but otherwise delicious. Next time I'm in tubac i will come here again. Hopefully there will be more on the plate next time.

This place has the best margaritas and cheese crisps this side of the border! The staff is friendly, the tacos are excellent and the mariachis are muy bueno too. We especially like Renee and Danny on the wait staff. It’s a good idea to get on the good side of the bartender. His benevolence is his trademark! We are forever patrons!

Our wait person was terrific. My wife's chicken enchiladas were tasty. My biggest criticism is that if you're not a meat eater which I am, you'd better go elsewhere. I ended up ordering a side order of frjoles. In 2020 it seems having even 1 veg dish shouldn't be that difficult.

Sotos Outpost is always fun. Today Renee welcomed us at the door. Their Christmas decorations are georgeous fully decorated arches one after the other and each is different. We chose to dine on their colorful patio; a treat in December. The food is always delicious. Their refried beans rate a second helping. Renee is an enthusiastic and attentive server. We will name request her in future visits.

Very large portion sizes in a fantastic setting. No one left that table hungry. 😁

No social distancing by staff. No masks. Wait staff and musicians very close to customers. Food mediocre.

They may think a capacity limit on indoor seating is good enough, but the reality is no restaurant can long survive at 50% capacity (or less) and catering to the 50% (or less) of the local population willing to watch them take the current situation lightly. That’s just bad business.

Went there for my birthday tonight. The food was delicious. The waitress was very Very friendly, efficient and hussled to wait on everybody. Great food and excellent service.

Great service, food and margaritas!

Salsa wasn't fresh I could taste the sour tomatoes. My Mom asked them if they could substitute her Chile relleno for a Tostada, the lady from the kitchen came to our table and make a big deal of that, saying that NO. In every authentic Mexican restaurant every order has three: 3 enchiladas or 3 tacos or 3 tostadas. One taco is equal to one tostada only that the tostada will have a thin layer of beans to hold the meat fir the corn tortilla is flat. Husband also wanted a red chili chimichanga and also fhey said can't make that 🤨🤔😏🙄

The food was quite good but we have had the same or equal to closer to home.

We arrived 1:30. Sat and ordered immediately. Food didn’t arrive until 2:25. Server never checked back. Food was mediocre at best and was pricey considering the location. Musicians came by that weren’t very good and expected song and tip. We are now waiting for our check. Why, I don’t know. Everyone around us has been waiting too. Feel bad for us all. Don’t come unless you have lots of time. Certainly don’t bring children!!!

Always a favorite of mine.

The food is always delicious. It's a family owned restaurant that takes pride in providing a great service to its customers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We enjoy the live mariachi band on the weekends. Definitely one of our family's favorite restaurants. I personally highly recommend to visit Soto's Outpost Mexican Restaurant 👍👍.

Good unpretentious Mexican food. Fair price. Very friendly staff. Inside seating in the most comfortable chairs I have ever found in a restaurant. You won't want to leave.

Excellent Mexican Food. In fact, some of the best Authentic Mexican food I have had. The staff is very welcoming and you can't beat the atmosphere with live Mariachis.

Chairs were really comfortable. Shrimp fajitas were overcooked and over priced. The margaritas were strong but had a funny taste. Loud drunks at the bar were rather annoying.Only one waitress for the whole place. She did her best but needed help.And the roof was leaking in several places.

The best chicken chimichanga I have had anywhere. The sopapillas were different and very, very good. New waitress did a great job
